The United States Navy is celebrating it's 230th Birthday this October, our celebration will be on October 8th, 2005. The USN Birthday Ball is a long standing tradition but only the fourteenth annual for the Fargo area. Please consider attending this years celebration. A cash bar will be available at 6:00pm with the presentation of colors set for 7:00pm, meal and program to follow. As part of the tradition, the most junior and most senior member present join in cutting the birthday cake. A DJ service will provide music for the dance to follow. We again have some great door prizes to give away. Please contact us if you would like to donate a door prize.

The prescribed uniform is Service Dress Blues, civilian coat and tie for those with no uniforms. Service Dress Blues with miniature medals and bow tie for Officers and Chiefs is optional. A number of you will be in Mess Dress. The bottom line is we, and thousands of sailors before us, have served to make our country what it is today. Be proud of the uniform you wear, and the tradition behind it.

You have a choice between marinated pork chops or cajun chicken breast. A salad, vegetable, dinner roll, water and coffee is included. Ticket prices are $25.00 for Officers and Chiefs and their guests, $20 for E-6 and below. Price includes admission to the air museum, gratuity and taxes.
