An American Legion Information
Booth was set up on the concourse at Newman Outdoor Field.
Legionnaires and Auxiliary Members manned the booth before and during
the game. About 4,000 fans were in attendance that evening. |

partially sponsored by the Fargo American Legion |

1. The American Legion, the Nations
Largest Veterans Organization, welcomes you here this evening. The Fargo
American Legion Post is a proud sponsor of American Legion Baseball,
Boys State and many other youth and patriotic programs and events.
Please visit with the Legionnaires on the concourse to learn how you can
help support these programs. Thank you.

2. Patriotism is a personal commitment for
American Legion Auxiliary members. We place great
importance on community involvement and responsible citizenship.
The American Legion Auxiliary is the world's largest women's patriotic
service organization. The American Legion Auxiliary embodies the spirit
of America that has prevailed through war and peace. Along with The
American Legion, it solidly stands behind America and her ideals.

3. The Sons of the American Legion
is made up of boys and men of all ages whose parents or grandparents
served in the United States Armed Forces. The Sons of the American
Legion focuses on patriotism and citizenship activities and raises funds
for many youth programs. The Fargo American Legion is proud to sponsor a
Sons of the American Legion program and asks for your help informing
potential members.

4. The Fargo American Legion would like to
say Thank You to our men and women serving in our Armed Forces. As we
sit here tonight enjoying Americas Favorite Pastime we have Soldiers,
Sailors, Airmen and Marines on patrol, around the clock, around the
world - protecting our America, and the freedoms we enjoy. Thank
you.

5. The Fargo American Legion encourages you
to visit our club in downtown Fargo. Our lounge and restaurant
are open to the public and we have facilities available for your private
parties. We appreciate your patronage and support so we can continue to
fund our many youth and patriotic programs. Stop by the Legion table on
