Present: Attendees at meeting April19 - Larry Nicholson, Russ Stabler,
Leslie Lewis, Dave Seifert, Les Bakke, Mitch Cambell, Larry Reed, Dean
Kroulk, Mike Doyle, Leo Almerada, Dave Brunsvold, Jim Haukedahl, Wayne
Ellefson, Don Norgren, Wayne Wermager
Guests: Phil Holmes, Donnie Rodger, Stewart VanWinkle
• Meeting call to order at 7:00 p.m. by President Wermager
• Announcements – Secretary Ronald DuRand is unable to attend the meeting.
Larry Nicholson will take minutes.
• Pledge of Allegiance
• Moment of Silence.
• No guest speakers.
• Treasurer's Report given by Dave Seifert with a balance of $776.02.
We had deposits of $177.00 with a beginning balance of $503.54.
• Membership status is 69 active members, 8 AVVA members with a total of 77
members
• No report on Color Guard.
Honorary membership to be given to Tracy Briggs and Jack Sunday.
• Brat Sales at Village West Hornbachers on June 4-5. Dave Brunsvold is
contact person
• Wayne W. mentioned the State Schloarship program is available
• Les Bakke talked about the Veteran's History project sponsored by MSUM
• Les Bakke also mentioned the need for workers at Bonanzaville on May
20-4:30 pm for Veteran's Picnic (West Funeral Home)
• A report was given by Wayne W. about our presence at Fargo South History
Class - Leslie handed out momentos to Vet's participating
• Northern Warriors Logo was passed around for our input
• 2010-2011 officers nominations were discussed with elections at the May
meetiing ( Ron Durand, Wayne Ellefson for Sec)
• Chapter #941 hosting UPB on Monday April 26, all invited
• ND VVA Picnic in Lisbon July 16-17
• State VVA Meeting May 8 2pm at Amvets
• Color Guard needed in Sabin Aug 21 - 11 am per Mitch Campbell
• March 29 attendees at State Capital were Les Bakke, Ronn DuRand, Ed Ahonen
and Dave Rice (recognition day Vietnam Veterans Day)
No other agenda items. Meeting adjourned at 7:56 p.m. CDT
