Hello and thank you for visiting our website. Please review the links to the left of the page to go find more information about the upcoming flight, submit a Veterans or Escort application, Donate, or find out how you can set up a fundraiser that will help us reach our fundraising goal. The Northern Valley Honor Flight is a non-profit organization created solely to honor America’s World War II veterans for all their sacrifices. Our regions Veterans are flown free of charge to Washington DC to see the National World War II memorial that was built in their honor. All expenses are covered by local donations and do not cost our heroes a single cent. We do this because the National World War II memorial was only just completed in 2004 and by that time over 65% of all World War veterans had already died. Currently over 1200 World War II veterans die each day and now fewer than 15% remain. Sadly, in the next five to ten years nearly all of the World War II Veterans will be gone. |
